While searching for a way to increase his powers, Bartok finds an old spell. It says that it will fill the caster with so much evil power that nothing can ever beat them. When Bartok casts the spell all kinds of crazy stuff starts happening on the earth. The Rangers scramble to find out what’s happening. The spell works, but not the way Bartok expected. He is possessed and the darkness devours his soul. He is now an empty shell, but is completely full of power and evil. The episode ends with him laughing and preparing to fight the Rangers himself.
